Within each of us is a continuous refreshing process of being that is primordial, somatic & trustable. This primordial energy exists beyond the realm of your struggle & self-doubt. It pulses & moves from expansion to contraction just like the change in seasons, the beating of your heart and the natural movement of your in breath and out breath.

We yearn for the freedom to allow this divine intelligence to guide our lives. Yet that movement of being can feel like a roller coaster ride and your nervous system wants to brace against where you feel out of control or in judgement of where you think you should be. This resistance leads to clenching and suppression of your natural being resulting in self- doubt, resistance and disappointment.

In this immersive experience you learn to stay with the expansion and contraction in your body that presents itself through your nervous system states. You listen & respond to your body’s language, the language that your beings speak, you open to the flow of embodied sensory knowing that aligns your body, mind, and spirit with the rhythmic pulse of source. You discover how to to meet your struggles, your trauma and pain in a whole new way dissolving limitations, expanding capacity, and delighting in its results!

About the Work

The Art Of Ecstatic Touch is both a practice and a bodywork modality that guides you in opening to receive and express the ecstatic nature that lives inside and outside of you.

You are guided to use your body as an instrument of touch that translates and transmutes your energy into fuel for your relationships, creativity, and purpose.

Working with specific embodiment practices you learn to tune into the foundational creative energy which is the source of the universe.

Your bodily sensation becomes a universal translator of this mysterious raw aliveness that wants to take form in your human experience. When you bring consciousness to this raw aliveness transformation, growth and expansion become possible.

All of your senses are a form of touch, and the Art Of Ecstatic Touch is much more than about physical touch. You practice engaging your somatic bodily wisdom through conscious feeling, movement, breath and discovering the unique rhythm of expression it has. Ecstatic Touch is the art of opening your awareness to being touched by life: Touched by loved one’s, touched by friends, touched by nature, touched by the divine. It is a paradigm shift and an approach to life that allows you to live a life turned on!

Life is happening in the body and you are here to become present to it not transcend it. Being connected to your turn on is being connected to what fuels you. It is the energy that animates you, the life force that brings you into health and wellbeing.

Lara Kolesar

For the last 25 years, Lara has been exploring and creating new ways to support the body and translate its intelligence through touch, breath and movement. She developed the Kolesar Body Knowledge Method for Pilates Instructors and now offers her latest creation, The Art of Ecstatic Touch, out of her passion for accessing the deep healing potential of the body when it's trapped rhythm of response is liberated into pleasurable intuition and knowing. She has lead international trainings and workshops guiding people to unlock their somatic knowing and expression through their sense of touch.

Lara combines her expertise in Pilates, GYROTONIC®, Yoga, Anatomy, Massage, Dance, Somatics, Embodied Sensuality, Heart IQ and Personal Development to remind people of their body’s trustworthy wisdom. She is passionate about using touch and sensory intuition to remind your body through its innate, ecstatic expression of aliveness that it is made up of the same primordial force that fuels all of life.

Roos Beute & Laura Douwes

Roos Beute has been deeply connected to her exploration of aliveness through her relationship to nature and her sexuality. A master horticulturist and a taoist energy practitioner, Roos has been mentoring with Lara in the Art of Ecstatic Touch since 2018. She inspires women to explore their wild feminine through workshops and one to one. Much of her creative expression and leadership is shared in her family as a mother of two young budding expressions of vitality and as a partner to her artist husband.

Laura Douwes is in love with everything sensual in life. She holds an amazing capacity for empowering others through caring presence. Her many years in mental healthcare and as a massage therapist expanded her offering of deep wordless safety. She recently studied yin yoga and follows a two year intensive Tantra training. She also has been mentoring with Lara since 2018 in the Art Of Ecstatic Touch giving her further distinction and trust in her intuitive gifts in the field of awareness. Another big passion of her’s; empowerment through the magic of the menstrual cycle.
