Where embodied anatomy meets living intelligence!

What if your body isn't something you have to manage, improve, or figure out—

but a living source of knowing, connection, creativity, and freedom?

Your body is sensing you all the time.

Before you have words for what you feel, your body is already responding.

Before your mind knows what you need, your body is gathering information.

And beneath the habits of bracing, holding, overriding, and disconnecting is an intelligence that is still there—

waiting to be felt.

The Living Body Immersion is a spacious monthly gathering to slow down enough to hear it.

Illuminating, surprising, playful, confronting, grounding, and deeply human!

This is more than a movement class

We'll explore the body through a unique meeting of:

Experiential anatomy & biomechanics (felt, not memorized)

Nervous system awareness

Feeling more at ease in your body

Greater trust in what you feel

Hands-on self-touch and care

Movement and integration

Embodied connection

Expanding your capacity for receptivity and aliveness

This is more than a movement class

We'll explore the body through a unique meeting of:

Anatomy
Understanding the physical structures and mechanics of the body.

The deeper intelligence of the body
Exploring what becomes available when you begin listening to what your body is communicating.

Movement
Allowing movement to become a conversation rather than an exercise to perform.

Touch & sensory exploration
Using conscious touch, pressure, movement, and attention to awaken areas that may have become quiet or over-held.

You won't simply learn about your body.

You'll have an opportunity to experience yourself differently through it.

Somatic awareness
Learning to perceive sensation from within rather than simply thinking about the body.

EMBODIMENT ISN'T SOMETHING YOU DO.

It's what you are.

Your body is living in the background of every experience you have.

It is your bridge to your knowing.

Your bridge to your goodness.

Your bridge to connection.

And, ultimately, your bridge to liberation.

Not liberation from difficult experiences.

But the capacity to remain present with what is happening without becoming completely consumed by it.

This is where embodiment becomes powerful.

We don't have to leave the body to find ourselves.

We can come more deeply into it.

And perhaps, your bridge to something even greater than yourself.

As we become more deeply embodied, we may discover that our own aliveness is not something we have to manufacture.

There is a rhythm already moving through us.

A mystery already participating in our lives.

EACH MONTH, WE'LL FOLLOW A DIFFERENT THREAD.

Rather than moving systematically through body parts, each immersion will explore a theme that lives throughout the body.

Possible themes include:

RECEIVING
What happens when you allow yourself to actually receive?

BOUNDARIES
Can your body sense the difference between protection and connection?

CREATIVITY
What becomes possible when you listen to the body's impulses?

PLEASURE
Can pleasure become information (and guidance) rather than something you have to pursue?

TRUST
What does your body do when you trust yourself, another person, or life?

GRIEF & RELEASE
What are you still holding that wants to move?

BELONGING
What happens when your body feels that it has a place here?

EXPANSION
Can you make more room for your own aliveness?

Each theme becomes an invitation to feel, explore, move, sense, and discover.

WHAT YOU MIGHT EXPERIENCE

You might notice a place in your body you haven't really felt in years.

You might discover a pattern of holding you didn't realize was there.

You might experience a spontaneous movement, breath, emotion, or impulse.

You might feel more spacious.

More grounded.

More alive.

Or you might simply become aware of something that has been quietly asking for your attention.

There is no particular experience you need to have.

The practice is learning to stay curious about the experience that is actually here.

COME INTO COMMUNION WITH THE MYSTERY

There is another dimension to this work that is difficult to put into words.

As we become more intimate with the living body, we can begin to sense that we are not separate from the intelligence that animates us.

There is something moving through us—

and as us.

You might call it Source.
Life.
Spirit.
The Divine.
Consciousness.
Or simply the mystery.

You don't need to have a particular belief about it.

The invitation is to become quiet enough to experience it.

Through sensation, breath, movement, stillness, pleasure, emotion, and presence, we begin to discover a rhythm that is larger than our individual effort.

A rhythm of receiving and giving.

Of expansion and contraction.

Of emergence and release.

Of listening and responding.

The Living Body Immersion offers a place to practice becoming more attuned to this rhythm—to sense what happens when we stop trying to orchestrate life entirely from the mind and begin listening for what wants to move through us.

Not as something outside of us.

But as us.

This is where embodiment can become a spiritual practice.

Not leaving the body to find the sacred.

Meeting the sacred here.

A SPACE TO GO DEEPER

The Immersion is intentionally spacious.

There is time to slow down.

Time to explore.

Time to pause.

Time to let your nervous system catch up.

And time to discover what happens when you stop trying to make something happen.

I'll guide you through anatomical education, somatic inquiry, movement, touch, and experiential practices—but there is no performance to achieve.

Your body is the teacher.

I'm there to help you listen.

Meet your Guide

Lara Kolesar is a bodyworker, embodiment guide, and creator of the Body As Muse Method with over 30 years of experience helping people reconnect to the intelligence of their bodies.

Known by many clients as a “body whisperer,” Lara weaves together somatic inquiry, experiential anatomy, nervous system awareness, movement, touch, and embodied presence into experiences that are both deeply grounded and transformational.

Her work invites people beyond striving, fixing, and performing—and into a more direct relationship with sensation, awareness, receptivity, and aliveness.

Drawing from decades of bodywork, embodiment facilitation, sensory exploration, and relational presence, Lara creates spaces where the practical understanding of the body can meet the deeper mystery that animates it.

Participants often describe her work as:

  • grounding yet expansive

  • nurturing yet illuminating

  • playful, honest, and deeply human

At the heart of Lara’s approach is the belief that the body is not a problem to solve, but a living conversation to participate in.

Through the Body As Muse Method, she helps people cultivate greater coherence, trust, responsiveness, and connection within themselves and their everyday lives.
